These critters have quite an enigmatic position within Lovecraft’s Mythos. I enjoy using them in RPG sessions for their ability to shift in and out of the characters plane of reality, potentially as a kidnap / assassin type role; but I’m looking forward to mapping out a bit more detail (at some point) their ‘culture’ and wider motives within the Universe, and beyond.
