Launch Party For My New Novel: Oakfield – Bristol, England – All Welcome

What’s On in Bristol April 2015: Launch Party for my New Novel – Oakfield

Come Along. Everybody welcome!

Launch Party for Oakfield a near future sci fi dark suspense novel by David J Rodger cyberpunk technology and monsters of the Cthulhu Mythos

There will be drinks!

Thursday 16th April @ 7pm

Brigstow Lounge

Great news! I’m having a launch party for the new novel Oakfield. It’s my 9th novel but has taken me 25 years to write. Early readers are already giving it excellent reviews. Come down for an easy evening at the Brigstow Lounge, on the harbourside (opposite SS Great Britain).  There’s a free glass of very fine wine for first arrivals and a chance to mix with interesting folks.

7 PM kick off with an introduction from the hugely charismatic and entertaining Gothic horror talent Thomas D. Parker, followed by a short reading by me from the novel.  A taster.  A teaser.  A delight.  There will then be Q+A followed by signings.

If you’re in Bristol that night, come along, say hello or just relax and listen – all are welcome.

Do spread the word.

Thanks!

David J Rodger

Hi folks. It all happens this Thursday.

Just a quick note to let you know that if you’ve never been to the Brigstow Lounge it can be very hard to find.

The best way to describe how to get there is place yourself in Millennium Square. If you have the big silver ball in front of you, and the masts of the SS Great Britain in your line of sight, in the distance, then that is the direction you want to walk. Keep going until you get to the water, and Brigstow Lounge is just there, on the right.

If you get there early be sure to scoop up a glass of their fine wine.

See some of you there! 7pm.

Here’s the address: Millennium Promenade, Bristol, City of Bristol BS1 5AD
