Cyberpunk illustration by Axel Torvenius for Yellow Dawn 3rd Edition

UTOC Marine / Corporate Mercenary

If you’re not aware about YELLOW DAWN – The Age of Hastur and what’s happening with it, then check out this informative post here.

This is the second illustration to come through from Axel Torvenius for the coming new edition of the RPG rulebook (3rd edition). It shows a UTOC Marine / Corporate Mercenary with heavy armour and some cybernetic enhancements.  This is the kind of character encountered in Living Cities or out in the deep Wilderness either protecting or attacking a remote facility / settlement of interest, etc.  For Wilderness encounters they’re likely to have come in via HALO drop using black light rigs (read Dog Eat Dog for example) or come down from orbit – which has colonies unaffected by the apocalyptic events of Yellow Dawn.

The image highlights the broad depth of scenario styles possible within the Yellow Dawn setting.
