Critical design is a concept born from Critical Thinking.  Two minds involved in this movement are Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby who have produced some wonderful designs backed up by thought-provoking texts on their subject matter.

The Bloodbag Teddy is a commentary on corporate marketeers targeting children. There is a version that powers a small radio… when the blood runs out, the child has to find more blood either through taking it from their own veins or the family pet.
