Image of a historical church on isolated island of Gozo conjures mood of classic H.P.Lovecraft short horror story
I spent most of September travelling. Crossing the Gozo channel by ferry, I saw a distant church cast in silhouette, a black spire pointing up with an eerie glow oozing through central windows. Evoked a strong sense of The Haunter of the Dark, one of my favourite tales of eerie, cosmic horror by H.P.Lovecraft.
