Rare Vinyl: Gary Numan, Unreleased Recordings 1978-1979 Volume 2 and 3

Not so bad a Beggars Banquet

SOME LOVELY ARTIFACTS FROM THE LATE 70S ON THE CUSP OF NUMAN’S PROLIFIC ENTRANCE INTO THE EARLY ELECTRO SCENE.

I’ve been digging through my vinyl collection. Currently on sabbatical and enjoying the massive shift in pace, decompression and elasticity of time where suddenly it makes sense and feels good to dig through boxes of old stuff.  Working on the edit of the latest novel (Oakfield) and writing the next novel due for release next year (Broken Fury), I am reminded once again just how much of my imagination has been shaped by Numan’s lyrics.

Currently LOVING listening to “We Have A Technical” again. Rapid plunges of fat synth sounds.
