November 2013 – Walking up towards Checkpoint Charlie I passed this building with some beautiful pieces of art deco motif woven into its fabric. Looking a little closer I realised there was a massive piece of history to this building. Here is a photo of it back in 1936, and then later – directly after WWII – and again in the 1960s. A building with an incredible journey through time and world epochs.  And it has survived.

GOOGLE Europahaus on Stresemannstraße to see more pictures and get a full snap of what it looks like today. I didn’t take a picture myself for some dumb reason.
