I wrote this one this morning, after waking up at silly o’clock. So much for a no-writing month.  You’ll recognise some classic elements of H P Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos, blended in with my own addition / interpretation – the concept of the Quantisphere, which underpins a lot of the fiction I write where the Outer Chaos of the Mythos brushes, rubs up against or brutally intrudes on human life.  It also gives an insight into my reconciliation of traditional Occult concepts with Lovecraft’s bleak, uncaring cosmic horror.  It’s around 2,800 words give or take. Hope you enjoy.  After reading, you may wish to examine an interpretation of Roman Polanski’s movie: The Ninth Gate.
