Short story (4,300 words) Cyberpunk Horror. A corporate head hunter plans a lucrative extraction job, assisted by an mysterious neural implant he has no memory of receiving. Meanwhile another kind of hunt is taking place – where a man acts upon a violent and disturbing urge. Somewhere, within this fusion of damaged synapses and scarred nerve endings, there is a link. Oracle knows. Oracle sees. Oracle is the question mark and the key.
