It’s a real page turner. I mean this in absolute honesty, your book is incredible.
God Seed – a new style of fiction writing, By KW (Madrid, Spain): I bought this book wanting a holiday read – the type of book that I can pick up, read a chapter, put down, and pick up again later. I did not get what I wanted – David J Rodger’s fiction is not written to read one chapter at a time. Each chapter leaves you on the egde of a cliff, too afraid to look over, but compelled against your will to do so. A clever blend of Lovecraft influence, the desire for power, the fear of being in too deep, and a clevrly woven plot, intertwining characters each with a different agenda – all coming together for a terrifying and gripping climax. This is the first book in what will hopefully and surely be a long and exciting career enjoyed by David J Rodger’s new fans.
Lovecraft brought screaming and thrashing into the 21st Century, by S. R. Pyne (Bristol, UK): David Rodger has created a World where Lovecraft’s mythos enters the near future. This, one of [...] novels that he has set in a Gibsonesque environ, is a fulfilling piece of sci-fi horror, something that he evokes well. You can see the inspiration of Alien, beefed up with some Andy McNab-style action. The narrative sometimes sacrifices depth for pace, but is ultimately a fulfilling read. If you like Philip K Dick, or indeed William Gibson, and enjoyed some of Lovecraft’s genre, this will definitely appeal.
Muy bueno, By CCF (Valladolid, España): Este libro llegó a mis manos de casualidad ya que no conocía nada del autor y he quedado gratamente sorprendida. Me ha enganchado de tal manera que lo he terminado en una semana!!!!!.Muy bueno. Os lo recomiendo.Me gustaría saber si ha publicado más títulos y algo más del escritor. Sabeis si están en las librerías españolas? Creo que el autor es británico.

David J. Rodger (born 1970 in Newcastle Upon Tyne) is a British science fiction & fantasy author and game designer best known for his novels set in a near-future world of corporate and political intrigue. So far he has published five novels; four that are set in the same world: God Seed; Dante’s Fool; Iron Man Project and Edge, and one, Dog Eat Dog, set within the post-apocalyptic world of Yellow Dawn.
