Arnos Vale {short story}
It was a simple job. Graves in Arnos Vale were being dug up by vandals; the caskets opened and then left, apparently with nothing removed. Senseless acts, yet executed with relentless effort. All he had to do was keep a watch on the place, do some rounds and make a few snap checks. Call the police if he saw anything. Easy money for old rope? Not quite. There is a cancer that grows and spreads through the ground beneath our feet. Arnos Vale is a portal to a world of mist and shadows, where the foolish can stumble upon terrors that should not be and glimpse Nature’s cruel and despicable secrets.

Great story, full of dread and menace – Pete Haughie, Leipzig
Another excellent short story – Simon Pyne, Bristol
A fun mixture of your unique narrative voice and the spirit of Mr. Lovecraft. The set-up of the tale builds the gentle “creep” of the dark atmosphere slowly under your skin until you can’t resist the shiver at the crescendo of the action. I love the imagery of this one, and the fact this is an actual grave-yard site adds even more to the story. - Sammi R, Arizona
