This is an amazing image. Astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson gazing upon the Earth from the dome of the International Space Station. It really slams home how far this fleshy, hairy, aggressive species has come in the last century.
I wonder if the increasingly rare trait of compassion and philanthropy will make the gene-jump, off-world and into space?
