Music for cyberpunks - Reves Mecaniques by The Hacker (Michel Amato)

I bought this album by The Hacker (Michel Amato) back in the mid-noughties and it slotted into my cerebral cortex like a slice of carbo-plastic bio-soft. Immediate expansion of neural circuits and a flash-import of creative ideas to fuel the stories I write. There’s some stunning colabs with Miss Kitten (Caroline Hervé) – another French electronica star. Dig the Euro-style seeping through your data-ports.  No sun-baked South Euro Federation mellowness going on with this outfit.  This is stunningly cool North Euro – dystopian and alone beneath electronic starlight in a virtual construct party.

Buy the album. It’s a soundtrack for riding the sodalum lit pathways of your imagination into the darkness of new and unformed ideas.  Rêves Mecaniques, by The Hacker – available to download from Play.com
