Jair Hamlet – Chronicles – RT 10th May 2010

As Blayze vanished, literally, Annie, Ilar and I tried our disparate means to track him down; and failed initially.  But later, after having concluded delivery of the Titan to house Cannith, we did track him down and cornered him in his safe house.  This led to an interesting situation.  Why kill or attack him: he’s merely doing what he believes is right for his cause. So we invited him down for a drink at the Broken Anvil. Which he accepted. A strange slightly uneasy social gathering but enjoyable all the same.

We went to Dorasharn tower the next day and delivered the triangular thing. Saw where it was hidden in a stone column (to retrieve when we return to future perhaps?).

I suggested we should return to tavern and sleep. I drunk myself silly, and, lo behold, we awake on the train: back in the future.  With Roland Eckhardt and Drat, 30 minutes out of Vathirond and about to observe the delivery of the crate (now containing a dead war forged).

A plan must be hatched.

    Late night speelling :)

I’m fascinated by what you’ll do next… if you survive the warforged extremist cell.

    Coolio, have fixed (Sp)’s.

Full frontal attack is probably a bad idea; man machines probably have no sense of humour so I can’t see bluff working for long. Decoy and a trap? I suspect we may have to invoke the authorities on them, as being unnatural they do not succumb easily to the balance of nature

@ Annie, I agree. I don’t think we’re equipped to go up against such things as we are, and certainly not alone. Reconnaissance might be a useful ploy to start? Gather intel and find suitable allies for support.

Whilst I’m eager to do battle, I understand the importance of reconnaissance and knowledge of the enemy, and their base of operations here in Vathirond.

Jair, it seems you are the most skilled of us all to track these Warforged conspirators.

Stas – is there anything in your arcane repertoire that could help Jair with this?

And when in the hells did I become so wordy. Repertoire indeed…. ;-)

  6. niceguytony says:

Although Ani, I suspect Eckhardt wants this kept discreet, otherwise he would have involved the authorities from Vathirond from the start.

I’m not sure we’ll get help from that quarter
